Rome, the eternal city – or at least it seems so. If you see something that was built less than 300 years ago in Rome, it’s pretty new. Even the ancient Fiats and Vespas that race around town seem to be from an earlier time. But old in this case really does mean Grand, Legendary, Impressive, Beautiful – all the things that have made Imperial Rome reach out and attract us so. Here is Rome circa 2011 (at least through my eyes):

Magnificent my friend!! After admiring all of these, I just don’t know which is my favorite. The angel shots are stunning, Victor Emmanuel statue, Campidoglio shot contrasting the statue and the child is magical…as is the setting sun in the Forum. OH, how I could rave on and on. Brilliant!!!
