Enchanting Alsace, France
If there ever was a fairytale land that really exists it must be Alsace. This little corner of France is full of enchanting villages and landscapes just begging to be visited. The Wine Route (Route des Vins) is a delightful 106 mile trail that wanders across miles of undulating, vine-covered hills, and through quaint villages with narrow streets and charming flower-decked houses clustered around the local church steeple. A visit to Alsace will never be forgotten.
I love all your photos, but these just might be my favorites. You’ve captured the beauty of the region perfectly.
Thanks Kathy! Definitely one of my favorite corners of the world – so rich in every way.
Beautiful photos!
Thanks Jessi – Beautiful region, picturesque villages…
Morning, neighbor! Your photos are absolutely wonderful. They make me feel like I was visiting right along with you!
Thanks for the comments – sounds like the pix were successful. I always think of taking viewers on a journey with me as I shoot.
Like I have told you many times my friend, you are extraordinarily talented and have a real eye for capturing the essence of the places you visit. I am a big fan of work and wish you all the success in the world!
Thanks Jeff – just out doing what I love to do. There’s so many beautiful things to see…
My ancestral homeland. Can’t wait to go.
Hello from Australia,
Thank you for sharing your lovely photographs of Alsace.
Recently I had visited Alsace and as a freelance photographer, I fell in love with the region. Strasbourg is an amazing place and a photographer’s dream. I plan to visit the region again in 2013 an take lots of photographs.
The Cathedral is spectacular!
Regards,
Tina
Thanks for the note Tina… You’re so right about Alsace – gorgeous area and full of amazing photo-ops. I can’t wait to go back!
